Baylor Homecoming

Baylor Homecoming is a BIG deal.  We spend the first 2 months of school preparing for it.  Baylor did have the first college homecoming after all.  From hours building floats and practicing for Pigskin (the top 8 winners from the Sing musical production in the spring) to replanting every flower on campus, the excitement is in the air and sleep is quite rare!
Families always come in town for Homecoming and mine was no exception.
Actually, my dad ended up coming for the entire week!
Leah, my roommate from Spain came to visit Janae and I.  Of course we took her to our favorite coffee place....Common Grounds!
Baylor is just gorgeous!
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday we performed our act
"Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf" for Pigskin.
All the roomies with costumes from our 3 different acts:
grandmas, flowers/weeds, and Little Red Riding Hoods.
The creepiest clowns from KOT's "The Show Must Go On"
On Friday night there is a HUGE bonfire on campus.
Leah, Janae, Me, Mike....Spain friends together in America.
All decked out in green and gold to head to the largest homecoming parade in the country.
Bruiser.
Mary our Kappa President and Homecoming nominee.
Our Float!! - first place Class A
KOT's Float - Judge's Choice (my brother J.J.'s float)
Staying true to Baylor's ring by spring, someone proposed in the middle of the parade.
The gang.
The Lisas.
My friend Garrett was Mario on his float...
just like when we were Mario and Peach at a Kappa event freshman year.
Baylor vs. Missouri - we won!!!
Big + Little
Little + Grand Little
Bekah and her adorable nephews.
My dad got us into box seats!
And TJ even came to visit...all our Spain friends minus Paul reunited!!
