Emily's Bridal Luncheon and Rehearsal Dinner

The weekend was finally here, time for the Kinney wedding! We kicked it off with a bridal luncheon at the Chocolate Angel in Plano.  We had delicious  chicken salad croissants, tomato bisque and fruit salad.

I figured I might as well include some one-on-one shots with the bride!

As bridesmaid gifts, Emily gave us monogrammed robes to wear for the next day while we got ready.  I had always wanted one so the gift was perfect!

After changing at the hotel, we all headed over to the chapel at Prestonwood church for the rehearsal.  Everyone did great and Emily had the perfect "practice" bouquet from all the ribbons at her bridal showers.

After the rehearsal we all headed over to a country club for a special rehearsal dinner.  Toasts were made, a cute slideshow watched, and Emily's little brother Bryce maid everyone cry with his speech.  Through tears he choked out a reminder to Dave that he better take care of his sister because she was the only one he had.

Dave + Emily and Lisa + Joe .... my married friends.

After the dinner we headed back to the hotel for one last slumber party before Emily Young became Emily Kinney!

Emily's Bachelorette Party

Every girl deserves to be spoiled every now and then, and we wanted to make sure that Emily felt just like that for her bachelorette party.  Judging from this Diva pose, we did a good job.

Since many of us have graduated and are spread all over, we decided to meet up in Ft. Worth at Lisa's (maid of honor) house.  Thankfully her husband, Joe, was nice enough to let us have the place to ourselves and spent the night at his parents' house.  Thanks, Joe!  We started the night off with a little primping....beads and purple and pink hair dye of course!

We had some delicious snacks and candies while catching up with everyone and taking LOTS of pictues.

In high school, Emily and Bekah made up the word "TAFT" which stands for Totally Awesome Fun Times.  We made Emily "Queen Taft" for the night!

For all those nice looking pictures, you have to take some goofy ones!

We decided to do dinner at a trendy Mexican place in downtown Ft. Worth.  The food was delicious and there was even a Mariachi band to serenade Emily!

Back at the house, we had a piñata just for Emily!  It took a while to break, but she finally did it and was sprinkled with loads of candy and little treats for the married life.

She got tired of waiting for us to put up the piñata.

We stayed up until the wee hours of the morning playing games and chatting.  Can't wait for the wedding now!
